Literature Text

A waterlogged dream,
drowns my dreary days.
I sit under the sea,
with the sea green shades of light
falling slowly down, through the last forests
which keep true to the romantic ideals
teeming with life, untouched by man
A small shark, eyes reminiscent of a foxes
would pass by, giving no more than a second glance
free from the Artemis awing aristocrats
trying to imitate her prowess,
by sporting for small woodland creatures.
Luminescent beings would light my deep green nights
Like a children's fairytale, these sprites inhabit the forest
Coming out at night, to light my way
or lead me astray.
Down to a waterlogged grave
I wrote this recently, I love the sea, it's a constant theme in my poetry. This is more just wanting to escape from it all, back to the nature the romantics talked about, and as I say, such a thing exists only in the sea now to me
